COMMUNITY

The idea of a “community” has changed over the past 50 years.  In inner-cities throughout America, we are witnessing large numbers of people who live in close proximity to each other, but are not functioning like productive communities. The inner-city has suffered the greatest amount of family deterioration imaginable and it is getting worse with each passing day.  “Empowerment For The People” shall be measured by its ability to help reshape families and communities.  Deciding how to move more productively shall occur.

In John F. Kennedy’s January 20, 1961 Presidential Inaugural Address, Kennedy stated, “Ask not what your country can do for you–ask what you can do for your country.” His is one of the greatest speeches ever written.

We shall do something for others by helping them financially stabilize their lives.
